Monday @ Friday's

Sorry if the title is a little weird. Trying to be funny la! Went to TGI Friday's on Monday night. This TGI is located in The Curve, Mutiara Damansara.

Started the meal with the French Onion Soup. The onion soup here at Friday's is really really good. You can taste the beautiful caramelised onions!

The picture above is the Jack Daniel's Chicken and Shrimp. As its name implies, the sauce is made with Jack Daniel's whisky. You cant taste the alchohol at all though. It becomes a sweet smoky sauce. Perfect as dipping for the shrimp and as a glaze for the chicken.

Cannot remember the name of the burger above. But as always, with any sort of American food place, the burger is huge!! It had a nice big juicy meat patty, the usual vegetables, bacon and melted cheese. This is really good especially with a big cold mug of beer.

Above is the Fettucine Alfredo with Chicken and Herbs. Another huge portion of food. The fettucine was done really nice(al-dente, not too soft and not too hard). The side of garlic bread was ordinary but the herb alfredo sauce was really good. Nice and creamy and rich.

Next was the BBQ Roasted Chicken. This(according to the menu) is one of the new additions. The garlic butter corn of very good. It was almost melt in your mouth. Very sinful corn! Also on the side was some chedder cheese mashed potatoes. According to the person eating it, it was abit too rich. The chicken was ok. The BBQ sauce was quite good.

kerfy - Ok. Thanks for the tip. Will try it out when in The Curve.

boo - Mexican stack thing? Is it the fajitas tower? The one that you get strips of meat, a plate of condiments and some tortillas and you wrap all the stuff in the tortillas to eat? That is good. But maybe the version is Chillie's is better.

penang kia - Yes! The French Onion Soup is a must have when in Friday's. The BBQ Chicken is alright. If you havent tried it, give it a go!

what i love about friday's is that u can order ahead. then the minute u step thru the doors, ur escorted to ur seat and ur food's laid out instantly. excellent!

birthdays can be rather traumatic though.

Hi Makan Kings,

TGI Fridays in KL? WOW! That's amazing. We have one here, it's right down the road from where I live and I haven't been there in like 10 years.

You ate all of that? There had to be more than one person there right. I mean, even the Uncle with his enormous buncit will not be able to finish all that. I know Uncle can eat alot lah, but this is abit too much for even him.

Dragon City,

Sorry to hear of your bad experience at Friday's. Maybe the chef at the 1U branch was having a bad day on that day.

Cheers,
